On offer is a permanent position with a well-established industry leader where you will be supported to build specialist knowledge around export, customs and the transport of dangerous goods, while working within a structured, organised operation.
This company are a leading provider within industrial, medical and highly regulated products, with global backing and a strong reputation for doing things the right way, investing in their people and recognising great work. Due to continued demand, they are now looking to add to their logistics and warehouse function at their Uttoxeter site.
In this role you will coordinate domestic and international shipments (air, sea and road), liaise with approved logistics providers, prepare transport / customs / export documentation and support the packaging, labelling, palletising and dispatch of consignments. You will also support goods inwards/outwards and help maintain a safe, organised warehouse environment, including operating forklifts and handling equipment where required.

The Role:
Coordinate domestic and international logistics (air, sea and road)
Prepare transport, customs, export and dangerous goods documentation (training provided)
Package, label, palletise and dispatch consignments to required standards
Goods in / goods out, receiving, inspecting, storing and dispatching products
Operate forklifts and mechanical handling equipment as part of site operations
The Person:
Background in logistics, warehousing, administration or similar
Confident communicator with strong organisation skills and good IT skills (Word / Excel)
Live commutable to Uttoxeter
