Job Overview

GK Healthcare is recruiting dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) to work across care homes in Kent, London, Reading, Suffolk and the Isle of Wight.

Key Responsibilities

Provide personal care and support to residents with dignity and respect.
Assist residents with daily living activities, including washing, dressing and mobility.
Support residents with their physical and emotional well-being.
Monitor residents' conditions and report any concerns to the relevant senior staff.
Maintain accurate care records and follow individual care plans.
Follow safeguarding, infection prevention and health and safety procedures.
Work effectively with care home teams to deliver high-quality care.

Essential Requirements

Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant in a UK care home or nursing home.
A compassionate, caring and professional attitude.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of personal care, safeguarding and infection prevention.
Valid DBS on the Update Service.
Up-to-date mandatory training certificates, including practical Moving and Handling training where required.
The right to work in the UK.
