Housing Officer - East Sussex
12-Month Contract | Hybrid Working
Are you an experienced Housing Officer looking for a longer-term contract where you can really take ownership of your patch?
We're recruiting two Housing Officers to join a busy housing team in East Sussex, managing a varied caseload and working directly with residents to help create safe, well-managed neighbourhoods.
The role
You'll manage your own neighbourhood patch, with responsibilities including:
Tenancy management and tenancy sustainment
ASB and tenancy breach cases
Estate inspections and neighbourhood management
Safeguarding and supporting vulnerable residents
Resident engagement
Working with partner agencies and support services
Managing cases and maintaining accurate recordsThis is a visible, hands-on role, so you'll need to be comfortable getting out on patch, meeting residents and taking ownership of cases from start to finish.
What we're looking for
You'll ideally have previous experience within Housing, Neighbourhood or Tenancy Management, alongside strong communication and case management skills.
You'll be organised, resilient and confident handling challenging conversations, with a practical approach to resolving issues.
A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are required.
