Catering Assistant

Here at Halton Housing, we are looking for an experienced Catering Assistant to work across our vibrant organisation.
Hours: 24 hours per week
Duration: Permanent
What You’ll Do:

Prepare and serve food and beverages, including menu planning and special dietary requirements.

Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety, and health & safety.

Deliver excellent customer service and support customers' independence.

Work collaboratively as part of the team and contribute proactively.

Complete administrative tasks including stock control, banking, income reconciliation, and operational checks.
What You’ll Need:

Basic Food Hygiene Certificate - NVQ Level 1 and/or Basic Food Hygiene Certificate - NVQ Level 2.

Experience working in a catering environment with knowledge of food handling.

Flexible approach to working hours and location.

Ability to follow procedures and instructions.

Good customer service and communication skills.

Ability to identify and escalate hazards or issues promptly.
