Digital Print & Finishing Operator
Location: Weston-super-Mare (Own transport essential)
Salary: £29,000 – £31,000 per year (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday
We’re looking for a capable, production-minded
Digital Print & Finishing Operator to join our busy team near Weston-super-Mare.
In this role, you will operate wide-format print and finishing equipment, ensuring every job is produced safely, accurately, and to the highest standard. It's an exciting time to join, as you will also play a key role in helping bring our new HP FS70w wide-format printer into production following its planned installation in the new year.
What You’ll Do
Set up and operate our Canon Colorado and Mimaki flatbed printers.
Operate our Kongsberg cutting table and various print-finishing equipment.
Prepare materials and files for production, carefully checking job specifications and quality.
Monitor print and finishing jobs, troubleshoot any issues, and carry out routine machine maintenance.
Keep work moving efficiently to meet tight production deadlines while maintaining a clean and safe workspace.
Assist with the integration and rollout of our upcoming HP FS70w wide-format printer.
What We’re Looking For
Hands-on experience with digital or large-format print equipment and finishing processes.
Confidence working in a fast-paced production environment with the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
A sharp eye for detail, pride in your craftsmanship, and a strong commitment to workplace safety.
A practical, reliable approach, with the ability to work comfortably both independently and as part of a team.
Previous experience with Canon Colorado, Mimaki, Kongsberg, or similar machinery is a distinct advantage.
Please note: While machine-specific experience is welcome, we are especially keen to hear from candidates with strong overall production skills and relevant digital print knowledge
