We are looking for a reliable, safety-conscious Paint Sprayer / OHC Driver with experience in steel handling to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for handling and moving steel products of varying lengths, operating overhead cranes (OHC) and carrying out paint spraying duties. Candidates with strong overhead crane operating experience who are confident in handling steel will also be considered, as training can be provided in paint spraying.
This is a hands-on role requiring a strong focus on health and safety, attention to detail and the ability to handle long and heavy steel materials safely.
Key Responsibilities

Operate overhead cranes safely to lift, move and position steel products.

Handle steel lengths ranging from approximately 300mm up to 12–14 metres.

Carry out paint spraying duties to the required quality standards.

Prepare steel surfaces and materials for spraying as required.

Ensure steel products are handled, moved and stored safely.

Follow all health and safety procedures, particularly when working with heavy and oversized materials.

Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment.

Work effectively as part of the team to meet operational and production requirements.

Complete tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Essential Requirements

Experience in steel handling.

Experience operating an overhead crane (OHC).

A strong understanding of health and safety procedures.

Confidence handling long, heavy and awkward steel products.

A reliable, responsible and safety-conscious approach to work.

Good attention to detail and the ability to work as part of a team.
Desirable Skills

Previous experience in industrial paint spraying.
