Warehouse Operative – Chessington
Location: Chessington, Surrey
Hours: Monday–Friday, 7am–4pm
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
Pay: £13.35 per hour
Talented People Solutions are recruiting for an established distribution business in Chessington, seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative with an essential Counterbalance Forklift Licence. A Bendi licence is highly desirable.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone reliable, hardworking and comfortable working in a busy, physically demanding warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities

Picking and packing customer orders accurately.

Operating a Counterbalance forklift, with Bendi experience advantageous.

Loading and unloading vehicles, deliveries and goods.

Checking incoming goods for damage or discrepancies.

Putting stock away and maintaining organised storage areas.

Moving, handling and organising stock safely.

Assisting with stock checks and inventory control.

Preparing orders for dispatch.

Maintaining a clean, safe warehouse and supporting general warehouse duties.
What We're Looking For

Previous warehouse or distribution experience.

Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence – essential.

Bendi forklift experience or licence – desirable.

Comfortable with manual handling and physical work.

Reliable, punctual and attentive to detail.

Able to work independently and as part of a team.
