Kiln Operative
Location: ST4
Working Schedule: Monday - Friday 6am - 2pm
Rate of pay: £14.23ph
Contract type: Temporary
Adecco are looking for an experienced Kiln Operative to support our client's busy team based in ST4. This is a temporary position up until 18th December (expected end date).
As a Kiln Operative, you will play a vital role in the production process, ensuring products are safely loaded, fired, unloaded, and inspected to the highest quality standards. Working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, you will support kiln operations while maintaining excellent standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Filling kiln cars with products ready for processing.
Emptying kiln cars once processing is complete.
Hoovering and cleaning kilns to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
Turning kilns on and off following company procedures.
Taking and recording kiln ring measurements/readings.
Carrying out general housekeeping duties within the work area.
Adhering to all health and safety procedures at all times.
