About the Role
The Senior Interior Designer will lead interior design delivery across commercial Design & Build projects from concept through to completion. This is a permanent opportunity based in London, offering the chance to take ownership of workplace and fit-out schemes while working closely with project and construction teams.
The employer is a Design & Build business delivering commercial interiors and workplace environments. They work across refurbishment and fit-out projects, providing integrated design and construction solutions.
What You Will Do
The Senior Interior Designer will take responsibility for the following:
Lead interior design concepts, space planning and detailed design packages on commercial fit-out projects.
Produce and coordinate technical drawing packages for design, construction and handover stages.
Manage client presentations, design workshops and stakeholder meetings throughout project delivery.
Coordinate with project managers, contractors and consultants to maintain design intent during construction.
Review material selections, finishes, furniture and specifications to align with project requirements.
Monitor programme milestones and deliver design information in line with agreed project schedules. What You Bring (Essential)
Experience as a Senior Interior Designer delivering workplace, commercial interiors or fit-out projects.
Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or equivalent qualification.
Minimum three years' experience producing technical design packages for commercial projects.
Experience coordinating design information with construction and project delivery teams.
Proficiency using AutoCAD and industry-standard design software for project delivery.
Experience managing client-facing design presentations and stakeholder engagement. Desirable
Experience working within a Design & Build contractor environment.
Knowledge of UK Building Regulations relating to commercial interiors.
Membership of a recognised professional design body or working towards membership.
Experience specifying furniture, fixtures and finishes for workplace projects. How to Apply
