The Opportunity
Rilmac Fabrication is seeking an experienced Structural Plater, Fabricator, or Sheet Metal Worker to join our team in Lincoln.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled individual with experience in fabrication and engineering environments who takes pride in producing high-quality work.
The Role
You will be responsible for fabricating small and large-scale components from detailed engineering drawings to a high standard of quality and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpreting and working from detailed engineering drawings.
- Producing fabrication work to specified tolerances and quality standards.
- Working independently and as part of a team.
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised working environment.
- Following all health and safety procedures and using the PPE provided.
- Working efficiently with minimal supervision.
Candidate Requirements
The successful candidate will:
- Be an experienced Structural Plater, Fabricator, or Sheet Metal Worker (time-served preferred).
- Have previous experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to quality workmanship.
- Be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Have a flexible approach to working hours.
- Be competent in the use of fabrication machinery, plant, and hand tools.
Desirable but Not Essential
- Forklift Truck (FLT) licence.
- Overhead crane certification or experience.
