Bid Manager / Sales Estimator (Construction)
£50,000 - £60,000 + performance bonus + car allowance + benefits
Remote Home-based (must be willing to travel as required)

Most bid and estimating roles mean you price the job, hand it over and never hear how it went. This one is different. You own the tender from first enquiry to contract award, and you’re trusted to run it your way.
You’ll work for a fast-growing, well-established specialist contractor delivering car parks, mixed-use schemes and industrial fit-outs across the UK. They’re expanding, and they want someone who can help drive that growth, not just keep up with it.
YOUR NEW ROLE

Leading tenders from enquiry to award, with real ownership of the outcome

Pricing and estimating a varied mix of projects, so no two bids feel the same

Building relationships with clients, consultants and key stakeholders
-
Working directly with operations, commercial and technical teams, with a say in what gets bid and how
-
Putting together presentations and proposals that win work
-
Stepping into negotiations and commercial discussions
-
Spotting new opportunities and helping shape the company’s growth plans
ABOUT YOU
-
Experience as a Bid Manager, Estimator, Sales Estimator or in Pre-Construction
-
A track record of tendering for industrial, fit-out, mixed-use, commercial or car park projects
-
Commercial confidence and the ability to produce accurate, competitive estimates
-
Strong communication and negotiation skills, and the confidence to run bids independently

Working knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts

Solid Excel and Office skills

A construction management, QS, civil engineering or similar qualification is a bonus, but experience matters more

A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
