We are currently recruiting for an experienced Sheet Metal Fabricator / Welder to join a well-established engineering company in Derby. The Role
As a Sheet Metal Fabricator / Welder, you'll play a key role in manufacturing components for automated parts handling systems. You'll be involved in the fabrication and welding of bespoke sheet metal products, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities

TIG and MIG welding of sheet metal components.

Fabrication using press brakes, guillotines, rollers and other workshop equipment.

Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.

Producing high-quality fabricated assemblies to specification.

Working closely with the production team to meet deadlines.

Maintaining a safe, clean and organised working environment.
What We're Looking For

Previous experience as a Sheet Metal Fabricator / Welder.

Strong TIG and MIG welding skills.

Experience operating press brakes, guillotines, rollers and similar fabrication machinery.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

A proactive approach with the confidence to suggest improvements where appropriate.

High attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work.

Reliable team player with a positive attitude.
Hours
What's On Offer

£18.00 per hour PAYE.

Ltd Company option available at an enhanced rate. (£22 p/h)

Overtime paid at 1.5x.
