Job Title: Production Operative
Hourly Rate: £12.71 - £13.20 per hour
Contract: Temporary, ongoing
A leading manufacturing business is looking for a Production Operative to join their team on a temporary, ongoing basis. This is a great opportunity to join a busy manufacturing environment carrying out a variety of hands on assembly and production work.
Key Responsibilities for the Production Operative:
Crimping wires and cables
Cutting and preparing wires to specification
Basic assembly of components and products
Soldering components where required
Using a variety of hand tools and assembly equipment
Following manufacturing instructions and production processes
Carrying out basic quality checks on completed work
Working safely and efficiently within a manufacturing environmentThe ideal Production Operative will have:
Previous manufacturing or assembly experience
Experience using hand tools within a production environment
Basic soldering, wiring or crimping experience would be advantageous
Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
Ability to follow work instructions and manufacturing processes
