Production Operative
We are looking for a practical and reliable Production Operative to join an established manufacturing business in East Devon. The role involves hands-on manufacturing, working with PVC and fabric materials, and supporting the production of tents and related products.
Location: East Devon, South West England
Salary: £12.75-£13.55 per hour depending on experience + annual bonus
Role Type: Permanent - Full Time
Hours: Monday-Thursday 7:45am-5:00pm, Friday 7:45am-3:15pm
Overtime: Optional, with additional hours available
Pay: Monthly - last working day of the month
Right to Work: RTW in the UK required
About the Role
You will work as part of a hands-on production team, supporting the manufacture of tents using PVC and fabric materials. The role includes cutting, marking and welding materials, working from drawings and templates, product construction, picking and packing.
Full on-the-job training and support will be provided.

Maintaining good standards of workmanship What We're Looking For
Good DIY skills and practical ability
Hands-on manufacturing experience
Previous industrial machine experience is beneficial but not essential
Good attention to detail
Good timekeeping and attendance
Ability to work on your own initiative
Understanding of imperial and metric measurements
Ability to manoeuvre heavy PVC and fabric materials
Ability to work to deadlines
Positive attitude and willingness to learn Relocation Support
