Senior Authorised Person (SAP) / Authorised Person (AP) – North of England / UK – Package Negotiable
Are you an experienced SAP or AP with a background working on DNO electrical infrastructure?
Do you hold current or previous authorisations relevant to HV switching and safety-critical operations?
Are you comfortable taking responsibility for switching, isolations and the issue of electrical safety documentation?
Would you be interested in joining a smaller, growing HV business where you can become a key part of the operational structure?
If the answers are yes, we are hiring for an experienced Senior Authorised Person or suitably qualified Authorised Person to join a specialist HV engineering business delivering projects across the UK.

Day To Day
You'll support the safe delivery of HV works across a growing UK project portfolio.
You'll undertake and control HV switching, isolations and earthing, prepare switching schedules and manage the appropriate electrical safety documentation.
You'll work closely with engineers, technicians, contractors and customers to make sure HV activities are planned and carried out safely and correctly.
Depending on your level of authorisation, you'll act as SAP or AP across projects and provide the operational competence required for work on HV networks.
This is a mobile role and projects can be located throughout the UK, so you'll need to be comfortable travelling and staying away when projects require it. A Northern base would be advantageous, but we'd rather find the right person than restrict the search geographically. INDWIN
