Help keep over 1,500 homes safe. Every gas safety check, fire risk assessment and electrical test you track means our Customers in Greater Cambridgeshire can feel safe at home. If you have hands-on property compliance experience, enjoy getting the detail right and want your work to make a visible difference to people’s lives, we’d love to hear from you.
About the role
We are looking for an organised and proactive Property Compliance Officer to help us ensure our homes remain safe and compliant. Working within our Property Team and supporting the Compliance and Health & Safety Manager, you will play an important role in the day-to-day management of landlord compliance across our homes.
You will monitor key compliance programmes including gas, electrical safety, fire safety, asbestos, water hygiene and lifting equipment, ensuring inspections, servicing and any resulting remedial actions are completed within required timescales. You will maintain accurate compliance records, review and validate documentation, monitor outstanding actions and contractor performance, and escalate issues where required. You will also work closely with colleagues, contractors and customers to resolve access issues and ensure safety-related works are completed promptly.
We're looking for someone with excellent attention to detail, strong data and organisational skills and experience of property compliance in social housing or a similar regulated property environment. Most importantly, you'll understand that behind every compliance record is a customer whose home needs to be safe.

-
Quality-check safety certification to make sure non-technical details are valid, complete and correct
-
Monitor compliance programmes and due dates, work with contractors to make sure assessments and remedial works happen on time, using our Hard to Access process where needed
-

-
Report on compliance and contractor performance against KPIs, and flag potential non-compliance quickly
-
Support compliance audits with clear evidence and documentation
-
Answer Customers’ compliance questions, help arrange access and share safety information clearly and helpfully
-
Take minutes and actions at contract meetings, and help improve our systems and processes, including for damp, mould and condensation
About you
You’ll bring hands-on experience of property compliance and take pride in getting the detail right. You’re confident working with contractors, checking safety certificates and keeping compliance data accurate, and you care about Customers being safe at home.
