Export Logistics Coordinator
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne
Salary: £35,000 - £38,000 per annum
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday
The Role
We are recruiting for an experienced Export Logistics Coordinator to join a busy logistics and supply chain operation. This role is responsible for coordinating the movement of international shipments, managing export documentation, and ensuring a high level of service is provided to customers and stakeholders throughout the shipment lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate export shipments from booking through to final delivery.
Prepare and process export and shipping documentation.
Liaise with customers, carriers, suppliers, and overseas partners to ensure smooth operations.
Monitor shipment progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with relevant customs, regulatory, and company procedures.
Resolve operational issues, shipment delays, and documentation queries in a timely manner.
Maintain accurate records and update internal systems.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and operational partners.
Support continuous improvement and contribute to efficient logistics processes.About You
Freight Forwarding experience is essential.
Strong understanding of export processes and shipping documentation.
