Join one of the UK's leading sheet metal subcontract manufacturers, producing high-quality fabricated components and decorative metalwork for a diverse range of industries.
Due to continued growth, our client is looking for a skilled MIG/TIG Welder to join their established fabrication team.
Working with thin to medium gauge materials, you'll be responsible for producing high-quality welded assemblies and decorative panels where attention to detail and workmanship are paramount.
What you'll be doing

MIG and TIG welding thin to medium gauge sheet metal components
-
Manufacturing decorative and architectural metalwork to a high cosmetic standard

Reading and interpreting engineering drawings

Working with stainless steel, mild steel and aluminium materials

Inspecting your own work to ensure the highest quality standards are achieved

Supporting fabrication and assembly activities where required
What we're looking for

Proven MIG and TIG welding experience within a sheet metal or fabrication environment

Ability to produce clean, high-quality cosmetic welds

Experience welding thin gauge materials

Ability to read and work from technical drawings

Aluminium TIG welding experience would be highly advantageous

Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
