โข Operate and set up CNC machinery in line with industry quality and safety standards
โข Identify and load the correct CNC programmes and tooling
โข Carry out firstโoff inspections and monitor accuracy during production
โข Log production activity using digital shopโfloor systems
โข Maintain safe, tidy work areas and support wider manufacturing operations
โข Monitor tool wear, make basic programme edits, and ensure all components meet specification
Youโll gain hands on experience with advanced CNC machinery and learn how high quality components are manufactured for the energy, renewables and industrial sectors.
Youโll develop a deep understanding of tooling, materials, machining strategies, digital production systems, quality control and engineering drawings, skills that open doors to a wide range of future pathways.
