Level 3 EYFS Practitioner
Full-Time | Nursery Setting | 5 Days Per Week
We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and experienced Level 3 EYFS Practitioner to join a nursery setting in Beckenham. This is a full-time opportunity for someone who is passionate about early years education and committed to providing young children with a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment.
The role is based in a nursery setting, not a primary school, and would suit a practitioner who has previous nursery experience and understands the importance of supporting children's early learning, development and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
Support children's learning and development in line with the EYFS framework.
Plan and assist with engaging activities that encourage children's curiosity, creativity and development.
Provide a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment for all children.
Observe children's progress and contribute to learning records and assessments.
Promote positive behaviour and encourage children to develop their social and communication skills.
Build strong, professional relationships with parents, carers and colleagues.
Follow safeguarding procedures and nursery policies at all times.
Requirements
Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare is essential.
Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting is required.
Good understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
Strong communication, teamwork and organisational skills.
A caring, patient and proactive approach to supporting young children.
A valid DBS certificate or willingness to apply for a new DBS check.
Drivers are preferred, with a full UK driving licence and access to transport being advantageous.
