Actio Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a well-established precision engineering company in Christchurch, Dorset.
We are seeking experienced CNC Miller Setter Operators as well as a skilled CNC Programmer Setter Operator.
CNC Miller Setter Operators
The successful candidates will be responsible for setting and operating a range of CNC milling machines, producing precision components to exacting standards.
Duties:
-
Setting and operating CNC milling machines
-
Programming with Fanuc controls (programmer role)
-
Loading and setting tools and fixtures
-
Conducting first-off and in-process inspections
-
Reading and working from engineering drawings
-
Producing components to tight tolerances
-
Using a variety of inspection equipment
-
Maintaining quality and production targets
-
Ensuring a safe and organised working environment
Requirements:
-
Previous experience setting and operating CNC milling machines
-
Fanuc controls experience preferred
-
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
-
Experience working within a precision engineering environment
-
Strong quality awareness and attention to detail
