Multi Trades Recruitment is looking for Experienced Bricklayers to begin work for a well-established social housing maintenance company covering South Manchester and surrounding areas.
About the Role:

Working Hours – Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5pm (Sporadic on call rota)

Pay Rate – £25.00 per hour

Duration – Up to 8 years contract for the right candidate

Location – South Manchester - Altrincham, Wythenshawe, Cheadle, Wilmslow and surrounding areas

Start Date – Early December 2026
Brief Role Description –
We are looking for experienced Bricklayers to carry out reactive maintenance and repair works across occupied and void social housing properties.
Duties will include:
-
General brickwork and blockwork repairs.
-
Repointing and repairing damaged masonry.
-
Repairing garden walls, boundary walls, and steps.
-
Minor structural repairs, lintels, and window surrounds.
-
Patch rendering and minor concrete repairs.
-
Completing reactive maintenance jobs across multiple properties.
-
Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard.

Following all health & safety procedures.
Vehicle Arrangements:
-
Company van and fuel card can be provided.
-
Alternatively, operatives can use their own van with fuel costs reimbursed.
About You:
-
Qualified / time-served Bricklayer.

Valid CSCS card required.

Valid DBS ideally (can be obtained before start)
-
Previous social housing / reactive maintenance experience preferred.

Experienced working in occupied and void properties.
-
Full UK driving licence required.
-
Own tools required.
-
Good attention to detail and quality of finish.
-
Able to work independently across multiple properties.

Punctual and reliable.
