Accounts Assistant. Swinton. Perm. £35k - £38k doe
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounts Assistant looking for and ready for their next challenge of working towards Assistant Accountant and eventually Management Accountant. You will work closely with the Finance Manager on your training and development and there is also the potential to work towards your AAT/CIMA qualification.
Duties will include;

You will assist with and eventually take ownership of production of monthly management accounts for all divisions of the company

Cost valuation reconciliation monthly process

Inter company reconciliation and recharges
-
Fixed asset registers and depreciation
-
Internal plant calculations
-
Month end journals
-
VAT returns
-
Check and submit CIS returns
-
Bank and card reconciliations
-
Payroll journals and allocations
-
Checking and paying employee expenses
-
Year end processing and audit preparation
