We're excited to be recruiting for an Assembly Operative on behalf of a well-established and growing company based in Worthing.
This role would suit someone with previous assembly experience, particularly working with small components, who has excellent attention to detail and the patience to follow schematics and assembly drawings accurately.
Experience with cable and harness assembly, crimping, soldering, wiring drawings and electrical testing would be highly advantageous.
As an Assembly Operative, your key responsibilities will include:
- Interpret and follow schematics and assembly drawings
- Plan and carry out assembly, electrical and testing tasks
- Produce high-quality electrical, fibre and hybrid cable assemblies
- Conduct testing to ensure products meet quality standards
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail throughout the assembly process
Requirements for the Assembly Operative:
- Previous experience within an assembly or manufacturing environment
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions accurately
- Good manual dexterity and patience when working with small components and circuit boards
- Experience with soldering, wiring or cable assembly would be beneficial
Salary, location and hours for the Assembly Operative:
- £26,780 salary
- 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 8am-5pm & Fridays 8am-1pm
- Based in Worthing
