LABOURER REQUIRED: LUTON, BEDFORDSHIRE
£16 per hour | 8 hours paid | Weekly pay
Looking for steady, ongoing work on a busy construction project? We need a hard-working Labourer to join the team in Luton, working alongside bricklayers and restorers.
The role
-
Labouring for bricklayers and restorers, keeping them supplied with materials all day

Mixing cement and mortar to the right consistency
-
Setting out bricks and blocks ready for the trades
-
Loading out materials to the work area and keeping mortar boards stocked

Moving materials around site by hand and barrow
-
Taking in and unloading deliveries, and checking them off
-
Assisting with brickwork restoration, including cleaning down brickwork and clearing out old mortar

Cleaning and looking after tools and mixing equipment

Clearing rubbish and keeping the site clean and tidy at all times
What you’ll need

Green CSCS/GQA Labourer card
-
Full PPE
-
Minimum 2 years’ experience in construction as a Labourer
-
Own transport and a full driving licence (the site is not easy to reach by public transport)
-
Good timekeeping and a real willingness to graft
