Job Overview
TradesTech Recruitment is looking for experienced decking joiners for a hardwood decking project in Enfield, North London. The job is behind schedule, so we need a driven decking joiner who can get the output up straight away.
The Role
Fixing Ekki decking boards (tropical hardwood, known as ironwood), boarding only
Every board needs pre-drilling, including for hex-headed decking screws, so accuracy and pace both matter
Working Monday to Friday until December Requirements
Proven experience as a decking joiner working with hardwood decking
CSCS blue skilled worker card
Able to work at pace to a high standard Tools and Equipment (bring your own)
Specialist drills and kit to pre-drill and pre-sink everything
New or sharp saw blades for cutting angles
Large G-clamps for warped boards, if you have them PPE (Essential)
Full orange long-sleeved hi-viz
Safety boots
Helmet
Eye protection
Your own ear defenders, as ear plugs won’t be enough when drilling or sawing A hi-viz vest is provided, and we can help with safety glasses and ear plugs.
