The role
You’ll help develop tender submissions for housing associations, local authorities and public-sector clients, presenting the business’s capabilities in a way that directly addresses each client’s requirements.
Working with operational, commercial and management colleagues, you’ll gather technical information, challenge gaps and develop responses that demonstrate how the proposed service will work in practice.

Write, edit and proofread quality responses for tenders, framework applications and supplier questionnaires.
-
Review tender documents, evaluation criteria and submission requirements.
-
Gather relevant information from colleagues and turn it into clear, tailored responses.

Develop content covering mobilisation, service delivery, resident liaison, quality, health and safety, social value and sustainability.
-
Produce case studies that demonstrate relevant experience and measurable outcomes.
-
Coordinate contributions and internal reviews to meet submission deadlines.
-
Maintain an accurate library of bid content, project examples and supporting evidence.
-
Use tender feedback to improve future submissions.
What we’re looking for
-
Experience writing bids within social housing, property services, maintenance, refurbishment or construction.
-
Excellent written English and the ability to explain technical information clearly.
-
An understanding of housing association and local authority expectations.
-
Strong organisation and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
-
Confidence asking questions and obtaining information from busy colleagues.
-
Excellent attention to detail, including accuracy, formatting and compliance.
-
Good Microsoft Word skills and familiarity with electronic tender portals.
Experience of social housing maintenance or refurbishment tenders would be particularly valuable.

A permanent role where your writing and sector knowledge can make a visible contribution to securing contracts and framework opportunities.
Salary is negotiable to reflect your experience and capability
