🏫 The Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise students in the absence of their regular teacher, ensuring that lessons run smoothly and students remain focused on their learning.
📋 Key Responsibilities
Supervise classes across a range of secondary school subjects.
Deliver pre-prepared lesson instructions and learning activities.
Maintain good classroom behaviour and manage student engagement.
Ensure students complete assigned work in a positive learning environment.
Follow school policies, safeguarding procedures and behaviour guidelines.
Report any issues to the appropriate member of school staff.

Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
A confident, professional and approachable manner.
The ability to work independently and adapt to different situations.
A genuine interest in supporting young people's education.
Previous experience working with children or in a school is desirable but not essential.
A relevant qualification or degree may be advantageous but is not always required.
