Totally Recruitment Group Ltd is currently recruiting for experienced Heavy Fabricators / MIG Welders to join an established manufacturing business based in Droitwich.

Our client has over 50 years of experience manufacturing vehicle recovery systems and is recognised for the quality of its products.

The Role

As a Heavy Fabricator / MIG Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and welding heavy materials to a high standard, working with material up to 20mm gauge. You'll need to interpret technical drawings, follow specifications accurately and ensure all work meets the required quality standards.

We're looking for committed, enthusiastic individuals who can work both independently and as part of a team to meet production deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

Fabricating and MIG welding large, heavy-duty equipment using materials up to 20mm gauge.
Carrying out MIG welding using 1.2mm wire.
Reading and interpreting technical drawings and engineering specifications.
Ensuring all fabrication and welding work meets quality requirements.
Carrying out plasma cutting and oxy-acetylene cutting, where experienced.
Operating a manual press brake, where experienced.
Managing your workload effectively to meet production targets and deadlines.
Maintaining a safe, clean and organised working environment.
Following all company health and safety procedures.

What We're Looking For

To be considered for this role, you must have:

At least 4 years' experience as a Welder / Fabricator.
At least 2 years' experience working with commercial vehicles.
Proven experience MIG welding large, heavy-duty equipment using 1.2mm wire.
The ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work.
Good time management skills and the ability to work under pressure.
The ability to work effectively as part of a team while using your own initiative.
