Business Development Consultant
Location: Braintree, Essex
Salary: Competitive basic plus commission (DOE)

About the opportunity
All Square Recruitment is partnering with an established, growing business in Braintree that is looking for a Business Development Consultant to join its sales team.
If you’re a professional with sales experience behind you & you’re ready for more ownership, more responsibility, & a clear route to progress, then this is the role for you. This is a role where the effort you put in shows up in your results & your pay.
The role
You’ll be out there winning new business & growing existing accounts. Day to day, you will:

Generate new leads through outbound calls, email, LinkedIn and networking

Qualify opportunities and book meetings with decision makers

Run discovery conversations, understand client needs and present the right solution
-
Build and manage your own pipeline, keeping the CRM accurate and up to date
-
Prepare quotes and proposals, and negotiate through to close
-
Nurture existing client relationships and spot opportunities to grow them

Hit and beat your monthly and quarterly targets
About you
You don’t need to be the finished article however a tenacity for sales, a hunger to develop & a healthy competitive streak in you wouldn’t go a miss!
Essentials would be:

1 to 3 years of sales or business development experience, B2B preferred

A proven record of working to targets

Confident, articulate communicator, both written and verbal
-
Resilient, self-motivated and organised

Comfortable using a CRM and managing your own pipeline

Able to work from Braintree
Some great to haves would be:
-
Experience selling services or solutions rather than a single product
-
Experience in a target-driven, commission-based environment
-
A full UK driving licence
