Quality Inspector
We're recruiting a Quality Inspector for a full-time, on-site role in Droitwich Spa. You'll conduct detailed inspections, document results, and report non-conformance's.
Salary £35K - £40K, 25 days holiday, company benefits
Hours Monday - Friday, 38 hours, flexible working hours
The Role
Inspect incoming materials, work in progress and finished products against engineering drawings and standards.
Use precision measuring equipment, such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMMs and FARO equipment, to check components against specifications.
Record inspection results, document non-conformances and communicate findings to the relevant teams.
Work with production and quality colleagues to investigate issues, support root cause analysis and improve inspection procedures.
Support compliance with relevant standards, including ISO 9001, and assist with internal and external audits.
Recommend improvements to product quality and processes, and follow health and safety procedures in the inspection area.
Requirements
4+ years in quality assurance within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
The ability to interpret dimensional engineering drawings, including GD&T, and use precision inspection equipment.
A strong understanding of ISO 9001
Knowledge of quality practices such as root cause analysis, corrective and preventive action (CAPA) and calibration.
Clear written and verbal communication, strong documentation and data analysis skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Experience with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, HVAC systems or controls systems would be advantageous.
