We’re looking for a reliable and customer-focused Trade Counter & Stock Assistant to join a busy plumbing merchants in Denton.
This is a permanent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with customers, keeping stock organised and helping ensure the day-to-day running of the trade counter is smooth and efficient.
Key Responsibilities:

Greeting customers and assisting them at the trade counter

Answering customer queries and helping identify the products they need

Checking deliveries and ensuring stock levels are accurate

Organising and maintaining stock within the warehouse

Picking and preparing orders for customers

Keeping the trade counter and stock areas clean, tidy and organised

Supporting the wider team with general duties as required
Requirements:

Previous experience in a trade counter, stockroom, warehouse or customer service role would be beneficial

Plumbing or building materials knowledge would be an advantage

Good communication and customer service skills

Organised, reliable and able to work as part of a team

A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
