Pay Rate: £15.38–£17.94 per hour
Hours: 37 hours per week
Contract: Ongoing temporary / short-term project- at least until the end of 2026 with a chance of extension into 2027

Involve Recruitment (Midlands) Ltd is recruiting a Quality Inspector for an exciting HS2 project. This is a great opportunity for someone with manufacturing, assembly or quality inspection experience to join a busy team.
Key Responsibilities:

Carry out visual and dimensional inspections of frames and assemblies.

Check products against engineering drawings and specifications.

Record inspection results using a laptop.

Identify and report quality issues and non-conforming products.

Work closely with production teams to ensure quality standards are met.

Follow health and safety procedures and support continuous improvement.
What We’re Looking For:

Experience in manufacturing, assembly or quality inspection is desirable.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Confident using measuring equipment such as tape measures, verniers and gauges.

Good attention to detail, numeracy and basic IT skills.
-
A proactive team player with good communication skills.
Working Arrangements: The role will involve working both on-site and off-site when required.
Previous and similar experience is required - immediate start (week commencing 19.11.2026 ideally)
