My client are a national civil engineering contractor who are currently seeking a Foreman to help deliver works on a Thames Water project in Grays, with an immediate start available. The successful candidate must have previous experience working on water projects and a strong civils background.
Foreman Responsibilities:

Supervising site operatives and subcontractors.

Managing day-to-day site activities.
-
Ensuring works are completed safely and to programme.
-
Delivering toolbox talks and monitoring health and safety.
-
Coordinating labour, plant and materials.
-
Liaising with the Site Manager and project team.
-
Ensuring work is completed to the required quality standards.
Foreman Requirements:
-
Gold CSCS or relevant supervisory CSCS card.
-
SSSTS or SMSTS.
-
Previous experience on water or civil engineering projects.
-
Thames Water experience preferred.
-
Strong understanding of health and safety procedures.
-
Good communication and leadership skills.
-
Full UK driving licence.
