Introduction
Acorn by Synergie is recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing business in Crewe, seeking a dependable and organised Accounts Assistant to support the day-to-day running of its finance function.
This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working across different areas of accounts and is confident using Sage.
With flexible working options available, including school hours or full-time hours, this opportunity could suit an experienced accounts professional looking for a role that offers flexibility alongside a variety of responsibilities.
What We Offer
Salary of £26,500-£28,500 per annum, pro rata, depending on experience.
Flexible working hours, with school hours considered.
Full-time hours also available, working 8:30am-5:30pm.

Key Duties
Process purchase and sales ledger invoices.
Match, batch and code invoices.
Complete bank reconciliations.
Manage credit control and chase outstanding payments.
Process supplier payments.
Assist with month-end procedures.
Maintain accurate financial records.
Handle account queries from suppliers and customers.
Support the wider finance team with administrative duties as required.
Requirements
Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant or Bookkeeper role.
Good working knowledge of Sage.
Confidence using Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines.
Professional and personable communication skills.
