Development Executive - Commercial Insurance
Greater Manchester | Permanent | £50,000-£70,000 + bonus
We're recruiting for an experienced Development Executive to join a specialist commercial insurance team with an established reputation across Haulage, Transport, Logistics, Waste & Recycling, Construction and High-Risk Liability.
This is an opportunity for a commercially driven insurance professional to use their market knowledge, relationships and sector expertise to generate new business and play a key role in the continued growth of an established specialist operation.
The Role
You'll be responsible for developing new business within your specialist markets, using a combination of your existing network, introducers, partnerships, LinkedIn, outbound activity and leads provided by the business.
You'll:
Develop and win new commercial insurance opportunities within your specialist sector
Build relationships with clients, introducers and key industry contacts
Use your existing network and market knowledge to identify new opportunities
Lead new business activity from initial prospecting through to conversion
Deliver a high-quality, consultative experience to prospective clients
Maintain accurate sales activity, pipeline and forecasting through SalesforceWhat We're Looking For
We're looking for an experienced Commercial Insurance Development Executive / New Business Account Executive with:
Strong knowledge of the UK Commercial Insurance market
A proven track record of winning new business
Experience within Haulage / Transport / Logistics, Waste & Recycling, Construction or High-Risk Liability
Strong relationship-building and business development skills
A proactive, self-motivated approach and the ability to manage your own pipeline
An existing book of business or strong network within one of these sectors would be highly advantageous, but isn't essential
Cert CII or equivalent is desirable.Why Join?
