Job Summary
You will be responsible for operating beam saw equipment to cut and prepare materials for fabrication and assembly. We are looking for someone with previous experience as you will be ensuring precise cuts are made, workflow is effiecient, and the output is of top quality!
Responsibilities

Set up/operate beam saw machines to cut various materials

Read and interpret technical drawings, CAD (Computer-Aided Design) files

Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to ensure accurate machine operation.

Measuring materials to verify dimensions before cutting.

Perform routine maintenance on saw equipment, including cleaning, calibration, and troubleshooting mechanical issues.
Requirements

Familiarity with CAD software such as SolidWorks for interpreting design specifications.

Ability to operate hand tools and use materials handling equipment safely and efficiently.

Mechanical knowledge of tooling, fixtures, and machine components essential for precise cuts.

Experience working in a manufacturing setting with an understanding of safety procedures.

Strong attention to detail combined with excellent communication skills to work effectively within a team environment.
