“I was very sceptical about leaving my old job but I’m so I glad I took the leap and applied for my position at Apollo. Best thing I ever did, I get to spend more time with my children and watch them grow. Everyone is so friendly and easy to approach if you have a problem.” – Current HCA
About This Role
We are looking for a caring, committed and hands-on Healthcare Assistant to support an 11-year-old girl who lives at home with her loving family.
She enjoys sensory play, pamper time, playing in the ball pit and watching TV. You will provide 2:1 support alongside a Registered Nurse, playing an active role in her personal and clinical care, including medication, while supporting her safety, comfort and wellbeing.
You’ll also be encouraged to get involved in the activities she enjoys — from sensory play and pamper time to getting down on the floor and playing alongside her.
Some shifts will also take place at her school, where you will continue to provide 2:1 support, helping her take part in activities, interact with others and enjoy school life while ensuring her care needs are met.
This is a rewarding opportunity for a caring, patient and proactive Healthcare Assistant who is confident providing hands-on care and genuinely enjoys helping a young person feel safe, included and able to enjoy everyday activities.
Please note: Due to the nature of our vacancies, our clients have the right to request either female or male staff.
Our client’s family have requested females only to join their care team.
