Founded in 2021, Elvet Recruitment is a specialist recruitment consultancy working across the construction and built environment sectors throughout the North of England.
With an established client base, a growing reputation and ambitious plans for the future, we're looking for a Recruitment Consultant to join our team at our newly refurbished office in Mandale Business Park, just outside Durham City Centre.
We're at an exciting stage in our growth: established enough to offer stability, but still small enough for individuals to make a genuine impact on the business. You'll be joining a supportive, ambitious team where you have the opportunity to take ownership of your work and grow alongside us.
The Role
You'll manage a full 360° recruitment desk, recruiting white-collar professionals across the construction industry. Working with an active, established client base, you'll have the opportunity to develop existing relationships, win new business and build your own market.
You'll have the autonomy to manage your desk, supported by modern systems, a collaborative team and a management style built around trust and results rather than micromanagement.
Key responsibilities include:

Developing a strong understanding of your market, clients, projects and roles.

Maintaining and growing relationships with existing clients.

Developing new business and identifying opportunities to expand your desk.

Sourcing, screening and advising candidates throughout the recruitment process.

Managing your workload and priorities effectively.

Building your network and reputation as a specialist in your sector.
About You
We're open to applications from both experienced Recruitment Consultants and people looking to start a career in recruitment.
Personality, ambition, resilience and a willingness to learn are what matter most. Experience in recruitment, telesales or another sales environment is advantageous, but not essential.
You'll suit the role if you're motivated by building relationships, enjoy working towards goals and want to develop a career where your performance can influence your earnings and progression.
