BAE Systems is seeking an experienced Senior Quality Inspector (NDE) to join the Quality team in Barrow.
Key Responsibilities

Carry out quality inspections in line with inspection and test plans

Conduct NDE and weld inspection activities
-
Identify and verify non-conformances
-
Complete inspection reports and quality documentation
-
Support audits, customer walk-rounds and quality reviews
-
Liaise with stakeholders across the business
About You
-
Previous Quality Inspection experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment
-
Experience in NDE and/or weld inspection
-
Understanding of ISO9001 / EN9100 standards

Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and procedures

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Qualifications

NC/HNC in a relevant technical discipline, or
-
Time-served trade background with equivalent experience
