About the Company
Our client is a London-based independent mortgage brokerage, known for its speed, creative thinking and personable approach. Advising on residential, buy to let and wider specialist mortgages, they are now looking to add an experienced adviser to the team, working remotely and supported with a full flow of leads.
About the Role
You will advise clients on mortgages, mainly residential with some buy to let, working with leads provided by the business so your time is spent advising rather than prospecting. Alongside your mortgage caseload, you will look after an existing protection back book and receive ongoing new protection leads, giving you the chance to build a strong protection offering alongside your mortgage commission.
Key Responsibilities

Advise on residential and buy to let mortgages, from enquiry through to completion

Convert the leads provided into completed cases

Service and review the protection back book, ensuring existing clients' cover remains suitable

Advise on and arrange protection for new protection leads

Research the market and recommend suitable lenders and products

Maintain accurate, FCA-compliant client records

Build long-term client relationships to generate repeat and referral business
Package

£30,000 basic salary, employed

Commission on mortgage and protection business

All leads provided, so no need to generate your own

Protection back book to service, plus ongoing new protection leads

Fully remote working
Skills & Experience
-
2-3 years' experience as a Mortgage Adviser or Broker, with protection experience

Residential mortgage experience, with working knowledge of buy to let

CeMAP or equivalent qualification

Confident advising on protection alongside mortgages

Self-motivated and comfortable working independently from home

Excellent communication and client care skills
