Front of House Assistant

Salary: £13.00 per hour
Shifts: Tuesday to Saturday
About the RoleWe are recruiting for a Front of House Assistant for one of our clients Café's in Buckfastleigh. This is an excellent opportunity to join a popular café known for its welcoming atmosphere, quality food, and outstanding customer service.
Working within a busy café environment, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, handling orders and payments, serving food and drinks, and ensuring customers enjoy a positive dining experience.
Key Responsibilities
Greeting and serving customers in a friendly and professional manner
Taking food and drink orders and processing payments
Preparing and serving hot and cold beverages
Maintaining cleanliness and presentation standards throughout the café
Supporting the kitchen and front of house team during busy service periods
About You
Essential:
Previous customer service experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A positive, friendly and professional attitude
Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
Desirable:
Previous café, restaurant or hospitality experience
Barista or beverage preparation experience
Experience using till or EPOS systems
