Are you an experienced Sub Agent with a strong background in subcontractor management and cladding works, looking for your next contract opportunity?
We are looking for a Sub Agent to join a major Energy infrastructure project in Norfolk, supporting the delivery of key construction packages over an initial 6-month period.
This is a hands-on site delivery role, with a particular focus on managing subcontractors, coordinating multiple packages of work and ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.
The successful candidate must have previous experience managing subcontractors, including working under NEC contracts.
You will work closely with the wider engineering, commercial and construction teams, contributing to collaborative planning sessions and ensuring subcontractors are effectively managed throughout delivery.
Job Role
Managing and coordinating subcontractors across multiple work packages.
Taking responsibility for subcontractor performance, progress, quality and delivery.
Managing subcontractor packages under NEC contracts.
Overseeing and coordinating cladding works on site.
Attending and contributing to collaborative planning and programme meetings.
Monitoring site progress and ensuring works remain on programme.
Coordinating upcoming activities with engineering, commercial and construction teams.
Reviewing drawings, specifications, RAMS and construction documentation.
Managing interfaces between subcontractors and resolving delivery issues.
Ensuring works are completed safely and to the required quality standards.
Maintaining accurate site records, progress reports and project documentation.
Requirements
Previous experience as a Sub Agent on major civils, construction or infrastructure projects.
Strong subcontractor management experience - essential.
Previous experience delivering or managing cladding works - essential.
Experience managing subcontractor packages under NEC contracts.
Experience coordinating multiple subcontractors and work packages.
Strong understanding of collaborative planning and construction programmes.
Good knowledge of drawings, specifications, RAMS and site documentation.
Previous Energy, Power, Substation or major infrastructure experience would be advantageous.
Strong understanding of site health, safety and quality requirements.
Valid SMSTS and CSCS.
This is an immediate requirement, offering circa £450 per day depending on experience, initially for 6 months.
