Warehouse Operative Wetherby (LS22) | Permanent Monday – Friday | 8.30am – 5.30pm Access to own vehicle required due to the location of the site

ST TALENT are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative on behalf of a well-established business based in Wetherby.

This is a hands-on warehouse role within a busy and fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately picking, packing and dispatching orders, maintaining stock accuracy and supporting the day-to-day operation of the warehouse.

We're looking for someone who enjoys keeping busy, takes pride in their work and can work efficiently whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

Picking customer orders using handheld scanner devices
Packing and dispatching products using warehouse software systems
Processing goods-in deliveries and stock put-aways
Repacking products into branded packaging for retail displays
Accurate labelling of products and shipments
Stock counting and inventory checks
Maintaining warehouse organisation, cleanliness and safety standards
Supporting general warehouse operations as required

About You

Previous warehouse picking and packing experience is essential
Comfortable working to deadlines within a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Positive attitude and good work ethic
Open, honest and reliable approach to work
Able to follow instructions and processes accurately
Numerate and literate with basic IT skills
Comfortable using handheld scanners and warehouse systems
Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties
Able to remain on your feet throughout the working day
FLT Licence advantageous but not essential
Own transport is essential due to the location of the site

Permanent full-time position
Monday to Friday working hours
£28,730 (£13.00 per hour) for candidates holding a valid FLT Licence
National Living Wage for candidates without an FLT Licence
