CNC Machinist – CNC Millers and CNC Turners
We are working with a respected client of ours based in Rochdale who are recruiting for a CNC Miller Setter / Operator and CNC Turners.
The Job for CNC Millers
-
CNC Milling Experience (essential)
-
Siemans / fanuc control systems
-
Programming experience
-
Experience machining cast iron, bronze and mild and stainless steel (essential)
-
Overhead crane experience as they are big jobs
-
Tooling for the machine can weigh up to 35kg
-
Follow health, safety, and quality procedures at all times
The Job for CNC Turners
-
Program, Set and Operate CNC Lathes that have Fanuc operating systems with a proven track record.

Work with all types of materials, including steel, aluminium, plastics, and other materials.

Work with all types of tools, including drills, grinders, and sanders.
-
Perform routine maintenance on machine equipment and perform minor repairs as needed.

Perform quality control checks on parts produced by the machine.
-
Maintain work area to ensure it is clean and organised.

Follow safety guidelines and procedures established by the company or organisation or employer.
About you
-
Proven experience as a CNC Turner/Miller or CNC Machinist
-
Strong knowledge of CNC Turning/Milling operations and tooling
-
An excellent timekeeper
-
A can-do attitude with a motivated pro-active approach
-
Excellent attention to detail
-
Able to work to tight deadlines in a busy environment

Ability to work independently or as part of a team depending on the job requirements.

Ability to work overtime when required based on workload
