Hours: 7.30AM-4.30PM
£12.71 per hour - temp to perm contract - 37.5 hours weekly
About the Role
We are looking for a General Production Operative to join our clients team. You will be responsible for basic manual operations working with chemicals in a basic process, preparation of materials, basic stock control, and maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities

Apply compounds accurately and efficiently.

Prepare and load work for daily and weekly production.

Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workstation.

Complete end-of-shift and end-of-week close-down procedures.

Handle, store, and dispose of chemicals safely in line with COSHH requirements.

Carry out weekly stock checks and report shortages.

Complete effective handovers and support colleagues when required.

Assist with training new team members where necessary.

Use IT systems
About You
You will have:

Experience in a production environment - not warehousing or logistics - and in easy commute of HD9 Honley area

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Good organisational and time-management skills.

The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

A responsible and reliable approach to work.

A basic understanding of chemical handling and COSHH would be an advantage.

Basic IT skills and communication skills.

A willingness to learn and take ownership of your work.
