The Opportunity
WLD Recruitment is working with an established precision engineering company in Cirencester that is looking to appoint an experienced Part-Time Health & Safety Adviser to support its manufacturing operations.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Health & Safety professional seeking a part-time position with a better work-life balance.
Our client is looking for a practical, hands-on individual who can maintain existing health and safety standards, manage compliance documentation and support day-to-day H&S activities.
This is not a business transformation position. The focus is on maintaining effective systems, supporting employees and management, and ensuring ongoing compliance.
Key Responsibilities

Maintaining and updating health and safety policies, procedures and documentation.

Preparing and reviewing workplace risk assessments.

Supporting internal and external ISO audits.

Ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety legislation.

Coordinating employee training, toolbox talks and safety briefings.

Maintaining training records and compliance documentation.

Providing practical H&S advice to management and employees.

Conducting workplace inspections and identifying potential hazards.

Supporting incident investigations and corrective actions.
What We're Looking For

Previous experience in a Health & Safety Adviser, Officer or Manager position.

Good understanding of H&S legislation, risk assessments and compliance.

Experience maintaining safety documentation and supporting audits.

Strong organisational and communication skills.

A practical, hands-on approach and ability to work independently.

Previous engineering or manufacturing experience would be advantageous.

NEBOSH or IOSH qualifications would be beneficial.
Working Hours & Salary
Approximately 20 hours per week.
Salary of up to £40,000 per annum, full-time equivalent and pro rata to hours worked.
Based on a standard 40-hour full-time week, this would equate to approximately £20,000 per annum for 20 hours.
