Ongoing kitchen replacement work across Greater Manchester, with a steady pipeline of refurbishment projects. £200 per day, paid weekly, self-employed, Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm.
This suits a Kitchen Fitter looking for consistent work rather than short-term or one-off jobs. Kitchen materials are supplied.
I'd like to hear from any Kitchen Fitter who can fit a kitchen from preparation through to completion and work independently to a high standard. Refurbishment or social housing experience is advantageous.
As a Kitchen Fitter, you will be:
Removing existing kitchens and preparing the area for the new installation
Installing units, cupboards, worktops, plinths and panels
Measuring and cutting worktops, including sink and hob cut-outs
Fitting and adjusting doors, drawers and hinges
Installing skirting, architraves and other timber products
Completing minor remedial and making good works
Working from kitchen plans, layouts and specifications
Keeping work areas clean and safe, and leaving each property completed to a high standard
Gas and electrical works are not part of the role and are carried out by the relevant trades.
I'd like to speak to anyone who has:
Proven experience fitting kitchens from start to finish
Strong kitchen installation and joinery skills
Their own tools suitable for the work
Reliable transport and a full UK driving licence
Asbestos Awareness certification
The ability to read kitchen plans and manage their own workload within required timescales
