We're looking for an experienced Production Artworker to join a busy and fast-paced creative production team, working across a range of packaging, retail, POS and print projects.
This is a hands-on role that would suit someone who enjoys the technical side of artwork and has a great eye for detail. You'll work from approved creative concepts and existing brand guidelines, adapting designs and producing accurate, production-ready artwork across different products, formats and ranges.
The role:
Working as part of an established creative team, your responsibilities will include:
Creating and adapting artwork for packaging, retail, POS and print projects
Taking approved creative concepts through to finished production artwork
Producing variations and rollouts across different products, sizes and formats
Updating copy, imagery, product information, icons, barcodes and other artwork elements
Working with templates, cutter guides and technical specifications
Ensuring brand guidelines are followed consistently across all artwork
Preparing accurate, print-ready files for production
Checking artwork thoroughly against briefs, supplied copy and amends
Managing multiple artwork versions and maintaining accurate version control
Responding to amends and feedback from the wider creative and account teams
Identifying missing information, inconsistencies or potential production issues
Managing your workload effectively to meet agreed deadlines and studio schedulesWhat we're looking for
You'll ideally have previous experience as a Production Artworker, Creative Artworker, Packaging Artworker, Print Artworker or within a similar artwork/production position.
You'll need:
Strong skills across Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop
Previous experience producing artwork for print
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong typography, layout and formatting skills
A methodical and organised approach to your work
Confidence working within established brand guidelines and templates
Good file management and version control skills
The ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities
A positive approach to feedback and working as part of a wider teamExperience within packaging, POS, retail graphics, large-format print or reprographics would be particularly relevant, although direct packaging experience isn't essential.
