Sales Executive – HVAC Location: Wimbledon, London
Salary: £30,000–£35,000 per annum, depending on experience
Working arrangement: Office-based or hybrid, depending on location, with client visits expected most days.\
The opportunity An established specialist in air conditioning, chillers and compressors is looking for a Sales Executive with HVAC industry experience to develop new business and build strong client relationships.
This is a client-facing opportunity for someone who enjoys meeting customers, understanding their technical requirements and turning opportunities into sales.
You will promote a range of HVAC products and services, including equipment supply, servicing, maintenance, repair and refurbishment.
Key responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities within the HVAC market.
Arrange and attend regular client meetings to understand requirements and discuss suitable solutions.
Build relationships with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities for repeat business.
Promote HVAC equipment and service offerings, drawing on technical support where required.
Prepare and follow up on quotations and proposals, progressing enquiries through to agreement.
Work closely with technical and service teams to ensure proposals meet customer needs.
Maintain accurate records of client conversations, sales activity and upcoming opportunities.
Keep track of market developments and provide feedback on customer demand. About you
Previous sales or business development experience within HVAC, air conditioning, refrigeration, chillers or a closely related sector.
A practical understanding of HVAC products or services and the confidence to discuss customer requirements.
Experience generating new business and managing client relationships.
Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
A proactive approach to prospecting and following up on opportunities.
Good organisation and the ability to manage your diary around regular client visits.
Comfortable working independently and collaborating with technical colleagues.
